Activity Week
In the past few years, ISS students have skiied at Verbier Switzerland, explored the stunning cities and culture of southern Spain, visited university campuses in western United States, taken part in 'adventure activities' in Australia, trekked 67 km across the kepler mountain range in New Zealand and gone hiking and camel trekking in Egypt.
Within South East Asia, ISS students have climbed Mount Kota Kinabalu, hiked through Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, trekked and stayed in the hill tribes of Vietnam, obtained scuba diving certificates and dived in numerous dive sites in eastern Malaysia, constructed houses for impoverished families and visited the majestic ruins of Ankor Watt, Cambodia.
Students in Singapore have worked on community service, volunteering their time in elderly nursing homes, helping handicapped youth with school, and working with animals in the Singapore Zoo. ISS students have also learned to sail, play golf, play tennis, and rock climb. While others have learned to make authentic Indonesian batiks, studied jazz, and immersed themselves in Singaporean and Japanese cultures.
We are proud of our highly successful 26+year track history in offering enriching Activity Week opportunities for our students.
Highlighted below are our overseas trips, itineries and photos for last year, and trip itineries for this year.
