Our faculty consists of approximately 60 members from approximately 11 different nations. The following gives you an idea of ISS' recruitment requirements.

An ISS teacher must have
1. a BEd or Graduate Diploma in Education or PGCE with appropriate teacher licensing.
2. a degree in the candidate's teaching field.
3. a minimum of two years' teaching experience.
4. the ability to be flexible and a sense of humor.
5. an understanding of and willingness to work within a private proprietary school.
6. reasonable computer competency.
7. a desire to actively participate in extra curricular activities, school development projects and other school activities.
8. an interest in working with students whose first language is not English.
9. the ability to work within a team.

Candidates ideally should have:

a. previous international experience.
b. experience teaching International Baccalaureate programs
c. qualifications in teaching English as a Second Language
d. a post-graduate qualification in their field of expertise.
e. experience in curriculum development in their field of expertise.
f. experience of pastoral duties.
g. teaching couples preferred.
