Our Middle School, like our Elementary and High School, has the atmosphere of a truly international and multi-cultural family.
Our experienced and energetic faculty endeavors to foster in our students a sense of self-confidence, responsibility, respect and multicultural understanding that is an important component of lasting academic success.

Middle School
The Middle School provides students with the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally and academically at a time of real transitions in their lives. They enter the Middle School as "children" - and move into the High School as "young adults".
The ISS Middle School offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme or IBMYP (see link below) which continues through into High School. Under the IBMYP all students experience a broad-based curriculum

consisting of Humanities (Geography & History, Technology (Design Technology & Computer Technology),
Mathematics, Arts (Fine Arts, Music & Drama), Sciences (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Physical Education, Language A (English) and Language B (ESL, French & Mandarin).
The School also offers support across the curriculum in English as a Second Language (ESL). Wherever possible, we also provide assistance for students with special needs.
This academic rigor is balanced by a climate that encourages respect for others, responsibility and leadership.
