BACKGROUND

ISS International School is one of Singapore’s longest established International Schools, having nurtured and empowered learners since 1981. Home to a community of over 40 nationalities, We celebrate our differences while embracing the values that unite us all.

Nestled among the treetops of Telok Blangah Hill National Park, ISS is one of the most centrally located international schools in Singapore. Unique to Singapore, ISS offers an international school structure with the feeling and community of a village school, where no one gets lost in the crowd. Furthermore, as a family-owned school we function as a big family, a fact reflected through the inclusion of alumni in our faculty and administration.
As Singapore’s longest established International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School our IB-based academic curriculum incorporates our bespoke education philosophy, and this is what makes us different. Our teachers adapt their curriculum delivery based on what they observe is the way students learn best, developing study plans in order to excite and encourage students to realise their full potential.

Our students gain places at leading universities, including the University of St.Andrew’s, Imperial College London, LSE, and UCL in the UK, John Hopkins University, the University of New York, and the University of California in the U.S., and leading academic institutions around the world, such as NUS, the University of Hong Kong, ANU, Monash, the University of Queensland, and the University of Melbourne.

THE CHAN CHEE SENG IB DIPLOMA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The Chan Chee Seng IB Scholarship Programme allows students to enjoy the benefits of an ISS International School education. Inclusion is at the heart of the ISS core values, believing that a socially diverse student population leads to a balanced education.

ISS is dedicated to providing academic, social, emotional, and financial support to students, and for ISS to benefit from the contributions a diverse range of students offers to our learning community.

The Chan Chee Seng IB Scholarship Programme is a merit-based award covering 100% of the school’s tuition fees for the duration of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

It is a two-year award, beginning in Grade 11 and finishing in Grade 12.

The full scholarship is valued at a total of approximately S$80,000 (based on a 2-year IB Diploma Programme).
