Mr. Chan Chee Seng, Chairman
Mr Chan Chee Seng, was one of the first generation PAP Members of Parliament serving in government from 1957 till he retired in 1984. At his retirement he held the position of Senior Parliamentary Secretary.
Upon his retirement he entered the field of education and became Chairman of Board of Directors of various international schools. ISS International School was founded in 1981, and in 1994, the Beijing BISS International School was established under ISS Holdings Pte Ltd. The Center for American Education in Singapore was set up in 1997 by Mr and Mrs Chan to make quality tertiary American education available to students in Singapore.
Mrs. Chan Ching Oi, CEO
Mrs Chan Ching Oi, B Pharm (Hons), University of Singapore, M Pharm, University of California (S F Medical Center) is Chief Executive Officer of ISS International School, Beijing BISS International School and the Center for American Education.
Formerly, she was a Senior Executive of the Pharmaceutical Service of the Ministry of Health (MOH). She had extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and bulk purchasing and supply logistics of pharmaceuticals. Her last posting was with the Singapore General Hospital as the Head of the Pharmacy Department. After her retirement from MOH in 1993, she has transferred her broad management experience from healthcare and pharmacy to education.
Ms. Chan Mun-E
With a Bachelor of Finance & Banking from Indiana University (Bloomington), Mun-E started her career at the Development Bank of Singapore responsible for banking needs of corporate client. Mun-E made her transition into education joining the ISS Group, and has spent time in all its schools and campuses. This is above her involvement in the school board since the mid-90s. Mun-E retrained herself with a Masters in School Counseling from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and presently holds the position of Deputy CEO in BISS.
