Whether you are considering ISS International School as a potential school for your child(ren) or settling in as a new parent, you may have several questions about ISS and how we do things. Here are a few quick answers to common questions we encounter from time to time.
School Year

- Elementary School: 7.55am to 2.25pm
- Middle School: 7.55am to 2.25pm
- High School: 8am to 3pm
Grade Level Categorisation
- Elementary School: Kindergarten to Grade 5 (4-11 years)
- Middle School: Grade 6 to 8 (11-14 years)
- High School: Grade 9 to 12 (14-18 years)

ISS International School is an authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering 3 programmes:
Are interviews for prospective students required?
As and when necessary.
Does the school accept Student Pass holders?
Yes. Pertaining to Student Pass applications, the school will initiate the process with the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore. A Registration Acknowledgement Letter (with specific instructions) will be emailed to the applicant thereafter for online application.
Guardianship Programme
The Guardianship Programme is only applicable for students whose parents are not residing in Singapore. More information can be found at: iss.edu.sg/guardianship
ESL Support
ESL (English as a Second Language) support is provided for students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. More information can be found at: iss.edu.sg/esl-support
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs)
Lunch
Students can purchase their lunch from the school canteen. There is a choice of an Asian, Western or sandwich set daily. Alternatively, students can bring their own packed lunch. There is a fridge in every classroom and students are welcome to use the fridge for food that requires refrigeration.

Rolling Enrolment
Our school practises rolling enrolment because we understand that some relocation plans are unforeseen or last minute. As long as there are places available and that students meet all entrance requirements, we are able to admit students throughout the year.

Technology Requirement
